Day 2: The Butterfly Palace Shopping and then Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede
So we start of with what turned out to be a 45 minute drive to the Butterfly Palace now here’s the thing folks we have a GPS the Butterfly Palace is at best a 5 minute drive from the Stone Castle so between us and the GPS what can i say but yes 45 minutes.
Once there it has to be considered a premium Attraction for picture-taking and for various activities you can do , we spent the better part of 2 and 1/2 hours there.
Once we left guess what we went shopping again and had a small lunch at the local A&W, this was a mistake not because of the food but because it was around 2pm when we had this food and then we went to the Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede!
What can be said well first thing the pre show was excellent and then the main show starts and the food. Now being on a diet or even trying to watch what one eats is a lost battle at this show and as we fond out in Branson period. So needless to say have a few pounds to lose now but hey the food was great and before you think of going i must warn the neat freaks everything is eaten by hand just like in the Viking Days.
But don’t forget you also go for the show and it is a great show , now being Canadian we still have the reserve British influence in us so it did and does take us quite a while to participate but lord when we did it was great fun. The Problem was the next day for man did our legs ache, and by the way so did our belly’s from all the food.
